Below is a super-short video that showcases some of the animals we helped evacuate from yesterday’s Hill Fire and this morning’s 46 Fire. We had a large response to both incidents. Some of the same officers that were working long hours during the Hill incident were mobilizing in the early-morning hours.
The horses and goats and rabbits remained at our shelter in Jurupa Valley as of late this afternoon. We’re assisting the owner of the goats Friday morning by transporting the animals back to his property.
