A “Trunk-or-Treat” offering begins at 10 a.m. at the county’s main shelter in Jurupa Valley. (Trunk-or-Treat events are similar to children participating in trick-or-treating strolls in neighborhoods. Except, in this case, the children only have to roam past the delicious offerings inside car trunks.) The pet costume contest at the Jurupa Valley shelter begins at noon.
