Animal Services will have personnel to assist pet owners at the evacuation center in Banning. Pet owners can also bring their animals, large or small, to the San Jacinto Valley Animal Campus in San Jacinto (581 S. Grand Ave.). This shelter is capable of assisting owners with livestock care needs.

Residents evacuated toward the Coachella Valley side of the mountain area can bring pets to the Coachella Valley Animal Campus in Thousand Palms (72-050 Pet Land Place).

Animal Services employees are prepared at each location to assist pet owners. No appointments or phone calls are necessary. Just show up — we’re here to help.

Stay safe everyone.
