An odd/fun reunion story involving a wayward sheep

July 9, 2020

Officers Michael Cox and Dwight Espeleta handled the transport of 4-year-old King Solomon, a sheep that has camped with his family in – get this – 22 national parks. This past Fourth-of-July holiday was one of the very few times King Solomon didn’t get to go on a trek and, apparently, he protested by escaping. Of course, we should note that his neighborhood was one of many in Riverside County that experienced lots of illegal fireworks blowing up in the skies. He likely freaked out, just like so many other pets. This is one reason why we always preach to pet owners: microchip your pet!
