Two Matted Dogs Receive Veterinary Care — and Now Look Much Better!

This short video showcases the fine work of our veterinary services team members. RivCo Animal Services Officer John Hergenreder retrieved these two severely neglected dogs on Tuesday afternoon in unincorporated Perris. A woman called our department and said the dogs showed up at her property. It’s highly likely someone abandoned the dogs and they went roaming.

Registered Veterinary Technicians Krystal Angeles, Tonya Buenrostro and Adriana Michel handled the hour-long grooming task to make the dogs healthier and happier. Other than being very neglected, they did not appear to have any serious health issues. They’re also nice dogs. If an owner fails to show up, the pooches will be put up for adoption.
