Two Date Changes to Vaccination Clinics July 3rd and Aug. 25th are the New Dates

October 2, 2019

Riverside County’s popular vaccination clinics at the Western Riverside County/CityAnimal Shelter will not occur on their regular days on two upcoming occasions.

The clinics occur on the first Wednesday and third Saturday each month at the Jurupa Valley-based shelter. But due to the Fourth-of-July holiday, the Wednesday, July 4 clinic has been moved to July 3. It will start at its usual time, 6 p.m.

In August, the Aug. 18th vaccination clinic lands on the same day as the huge, NBC-sponsored Clear the Shelters adoption event. This adoption event normally draws in hundreds of would-be adopters, so the parking situation will already be a challenge. With that in mind, the clinic has been moved back one weekend to Aug. 25. The start time remains at 10 a.m.

All information about the clinics and costs can be found here.

The Saturday clinic in July will remain on the scheduled date (July 21) and the Wednesday night clinic in August is also unchanged (Aug. 1).
