Hundreds of homeless animals come into our Riverside County shelters every day during the summer months. Pet overpopulation is a huge problem, but there is a solution.
Please spay or neuter your animal companions.
The County of Riverside Board of Supervisors has designated funding to help pet owners with the cost of spaying and neutering their cats and dogs:
Spay/Neuter Voucher Program - Vouchers to assist and encourage residents to alter their pets
Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic
Low cost spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats are offered to County of Riverside residents. Call for an appointment at our Spay/Neuter Clinic at (951) 358-7387 or 1-888-636-7387 in Riverside (5950 Wilderness Avenue), or contact Animal Samaritans in Coachella Valley for prices and appointment. Appointments are by phone only on a first come, first serve basis. Due to the overwhelming success of our spay and neuter program, we are not able to accommodate all requests for timely appointments.
